In addition to dog walking, we provide day care and dog boarding seven days a week – perfect for people who have a busy work schedule or hectic family life. We also offer a dog-grooming service.
We’ll pick up before the first walk in the morning and drop your happy, tired and well-exercised dog back at the end of the day.
There will be two walks around Richmond or Wimbledon followed by a few hours ‘downtime’ at home, which usually involves a well-earned winter kip on the dog bed in the kitchen, or a summer snooze in the shade in the garden.
We then go for a late afternoon stroll locally before heading back home around 5pm. We are happy to feed dogs on return and turn the lights on, if owners ask us to.
The Dogfather provides a home-away-from-home boarding service. We love having them stay over! If your dog is not one of our regular pack members we always ask that he or she joins us on one of our walks beforehand to ensure they’re properly socialised. (Please note we only take neutered dogs).
We take a maximum of two boarders at a time so advance booking is recommended. Dogs that board will be taken out for a minimum of two walks during the day (Richmond/Wimbledon) and evening strolls. We accommodate boarding for a single night, long weekends or longer stays of up to a month. We treat each dog as our own family pet. They sleep in the house (not in kennels) and if they are allowed on the sofa at your house they are more than welcome on ours. Happy dogs!
We offer a bespoke service for more senior dogs, where our carers provide shorter and less strenuous walks and more time relaxing/resting with some human company at home.
While you are away we are happy to provide you with text/WhatsApp/email updates with photos, or you can follow their adventures on The Dogfather Facebook page.
Why not treat your dog to his/her own holiday away from London and book them into The Dogfather country retreat in Wiltshire for stays of one week or more?
